If we’re going to spend a whole day together capturing your love story, it feels only fair that you get to know mine too.
Photography wasn’t always the plan. I didn’t grow up thinking I’d turn this into a career. But somehow, every chapter of my life led me here, and I’m so glad it did. What started as a creative outlet slowly became a way of seeing the world; a way of holding onto moments that matter. These days, it feels like a form of devotion.
To memory.
To connection.
To all the quiet things that make us human.
Rather than giving you a polished bio, I wanted to share something a little more honest. Think of this as a diary, or a storybook. One you can flip through at your own pace. If you’ve ever wondered how I got here, what keeps me inspired, or what this work really means to me…
THE TRUTH IS
I never meant to become a photographer. Not at first, anyway.
I've always had an innate love of creativity. Growing up, I experimented with different art forms and mediums. Painting, drawing, dance; anything I could do to create and let my imagination become tangible. I still remember the magic of watching my first photograph develop in the tiny darkroom of my high school. That moment fascinated me and opened up a whole new world.
I didn’t know it then, but that moment would spark something far bigger than I could have imagined. Not just a career, but a calling. A way of seeing people. Of feeling life deeply. Of capturing stories that deserve to be remembered.

My partner and I recently had a shoot with Kristen and were blown away by how incredible the experience was. In addition to her outstanding photography skills, she also has a talent for making everyone feel comfortable and at home during the shoot; from laughing and joking and hyping us up to the curated music playlists, no detail is overlooked. Kristen’s passion for what she does is clearly evident and makes for an amazing experience in front of the camera.
